The opportunity:

Flexport is both a freight forwarding and a software company. This is a unique opportunity for the experienced and well-connected (senior) Sales Executive that you are to be in the driver’s seat of building up a business, growing it aggressively and leaving your mark in the market. You will be part of a high performing and engaged commercial team equally excited as you to build up Flexport’s italian presence and to solve customer problems with tech-enabled freight forwarding.

You will be:

Building and growing Flexport Italy together with your colleagues, our ambitions are high!

Identifying good fit clients - both self-prospected and generated by your SDR team

Consulting with new clients to understand their supply chain needs and pains

Creating a value add solution, demonstrating our capabilities through remote and in-person meetings

Closing the deal - that goes without saying!

Leading the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources and teams

You’ll be joining a sales team with a lot of emphasis on growth, combining great culture, a place to succeed and focus on career development make this a fun & dynamic place to work.

Your contribution :

At least 2-3 years’ experience in a Freight forwarding / Logistics domain carrying  sales role, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals in the Italian market .

Experience of the logistics industry is essential with the freight forwarding industry strongly preferred

You are not afraid of cold-calling prospects if you believe there is an opportunity to win

Experience managing accounts and creating an outstanding experience for clients

You also have a genuine interest towards your clients, which you leverage in leading value adding discovery calls to uncover current processes and pain points.

A fast learning ability, a strong work ethic, and a burning desire to grow into a top 5% sales executive in the country

Fluent English and Italian languages

The range shown is the starting base salary for this role at this location, from minimum to maximum. We set ranges using objective, gender-neutral criteria: role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is based on job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. All figures are gross annual base salary in the currency shown. Base salary is one part of Flexport's total rewards, which also include bonus, equity and the local benefits offered in your country. Where a collective bargaining agreement applies to the role, its relevant pay provisions are available on request. This role is covered by the [CCNL Contratto Collettivo Nazionale per i lavoratori dei settori Logistica, Trasporto merci e Spedizione - Confetra (CNEL I100)]; its relevant pay provisions apply.

The base gross salary (RAL) range for this position (this does not include bonus, equity and benefits):

€46.400 — €63.800 EUR
